We are excited to introduce a new feature that allows merchants to set a default email address in Gorgias! This default email will be used when creating new tickets, switching to an email channel on existing tickets, and in satisfaction surveys when a designated email is no longer available.

By default, your default email address is the first one you created in Gorgias. You can easily view it by navigating to Settings → Email, where the default email address will be marked with a "default" tag:

If you'd like to change your default email address, simply select the desired email from the list and click the Set as default button. It's that easy!

We are gradually rolling out this feature starting August 28, 2024. All users will have access by mid-September. Thank you for your patience as we ensure a smooth release!
